Each year, Fort Fisher hosts a kite festival. This was our 2nd year attending with my friend, Tara, and her daughter Julia. The girls always have a great time and it's so fun seeing all the kites. We lucked out on weather and it was a perfect day. So happy they do this!

Vivian's 1st beach trip
Last week, Brian and I finally decided to take Vivian to the beach. We live 10 minutes from there and never go. Only time I go is when I have my family to visit. Terrible, I know. It was a beautiful day and the weather was still warm out. Also, tourist are gone so it was perfect timing.

She was a little of unsure of what was going on. This remained her expression the whole time.
I think as she gets older she will enjoy the beach. I can't for building sandcastles in the sand and watching run and laugh in the water. Those moments will be priceless! Until then, we have a pouty face that doesn't understand why this bath tub is so big :)

Brody and the beach
B and I attended the 8:45 church service this morning and afterwards we decided to let Brody run carefree at the beach. We live 10 minutes away from the beach and we hardly ever go...sad, I know. I hate having to give him a bath afterwards, but he was overdue for one so we might as well take him since he loves it so much. It was slightly chilly, but we all had a good time.
Happy Boy!
Brody and Daddy playing
What a beautiful morning at the beach. Boo is now all cleaned up and loving on his favorite baby!
Happy Sunday and enjoy the extra daylight :)
