Vivian's First Halloween

Halloween 2013 is the start of coordinating costumes for Vivian and Brody.  By the look of Brody's face, you can tell he's more than thrilled about his holiday.  Vivian looked so cute in her Pebbles
costume.  I just love Etsy! I have purchased so many things from that site.  If you've never shopped the online site, I highly recommend it!

We spent Vivian's first Halloween out-and-about...dressed up of course.  We ventured out to Hobby Lobby, Books-A-Million, Kid to Kid and Harris Teeter.

We did a short walk in the neighborhood and Vivian passed out a little candy to the first group of trick-or-treaters.  The little kids were kept saying she was so cute.  You know its true when a child tells you that your child is cute :)

We had to keep with our nightly routine with bath, feed and sleep.  My Mom was kind enough to give her bath and put her down while I passed out candy.

Brody didn't last long in his costume as usual.  Just long enough to take a few pictures.

(He took his head piece off himself, ha!)

He loathes this holiday.  Poor little guy.  By his look, you would think we were punishing him.  He did however had to get a few spankings for barking uncontrollably.  Kids coming to the door every so often had him going.  I think his barking scared a few.

Around 8 pm I decided to leave the candy out of the front porch while we were inside and left a note saying, "Please take some candy.  Happy Halloween!" above the candy bowl in hopes no kids would knock on the door and get him started again.  I didn't want to wake Vivy since she was asleep.  Kids can't read.  They still knocked.  I would open the door and see them in the candy bowl with the biggest eyes of being deathly afraid of seeing me.  It was actually pretty funny.  They got a good scare I think.  I asked if they got their candy and all they could do was shake their heads saying yes.  Ha!  Poor kiddies.

I'm glad my Mom, aka Memom, was able to be here for first Halloween.

Brian had to miss her first Halloween due to a conference he had to attend in Hilton Head.  Next year he'll get to participate!

I hope everyone had a Happy and Safe Halloween!  I
