Christmas 2019

This Christmas Santa did not go overboard and you know what, the girls were still just as happy.  Santa only brought what was asked with one extra gift.  Vivian asked for a pogo stick, a two-wheeled scooter that sparks fire and the wheels light up and a craft kit.  She also got scissors that cut different shapes.  Joanna asked for a Barbie dream plane and a Barbie boat.  Santa brought her a travel Barbie as well.

We got them each a game.. Outfoxed and Unicorn stacking game. Memom and Papa got Jo Barbie animal rescue (she's very into Barbie's) and Vivian a Barbie pizza maker.  Lots of Barbies this year!

We ate alot and played alot.  So happy for a slow and easy Christmas morning except for when Jo wanted Vivian's pogo stick and scooter HA!

NYC Day 4

On our last day I took Vivian to Central Parkand she absolutely loved it and we had the best time.

We spent a good chunk of the morning at the zoo which was really good.  We loved the sea lions and penguins!

We then made our way to the petting zoo that was really cute.  After we were done, we grabbed a hot dog before finding a playground and then she played on the big rocks.  Central Park is definitely more up our speed!

After Central Park, we stopped at Union Square for one more cup of Max Brenner's Italian hot chocolate.  Y'all, it's seriously the best!  We walked the holiday market before heading back to the hotel.

Once Brian made it back to the hotel we went to Time Square.  Before we left the hotel we were watching out the window looking at the sunset, but when we looked to our right, the sky was dark and it looked liked fog was rolling in.  Turns out it was a snow squall!  Vivian was sooo excited to see snow falling.  It only lasted about 30 minutes, but so fun to see! At Time Square we went to the Disney store and Viv got Joanna Forky from Toy Story 4 for her Christmas present.  We checked out the M&M store as well before making our way to Battery Park so Vivian could ride the sea glass hotel.  She loved it!

The next day, we had to meet in the lobby by 5:30 to make our way to the airport.  I am so glad we were able to take her since this was Bruan's last work trip to NYC.  Maybe well go there one day as an entire family.
