21 Months Old

Happy 21 months to my spunky little girl!!!  

Vivian, you are our little peanut. You weigh just over 21 lbs and your 31-1/2 inches tall.   Your clothes size are random...all based on the name brand.  You can even still wear 9 month size bottoms!  All if your teeth are in except your 2 year old molars.  You are in dire ned of a hair cut, just the front, but mommy doesn't want to have it cut :(

Napping has become random.  Some days you will nkt nap and others, you'll nap anywhere from 30 minutes - 2.5 hours.  The days you skip a nap, you go to bed at 6:30pm.  Regular bedtime is 7 pm.  Some nights since daylight is longer, you go to bed a little closer to 7:30 pm.  You sleep 11.5-12 hours every night. 

You have become the chatter box.  You are now trying to repeat words after us.  You love telling us your colors.  If you are coloring, you hold up the crayon and tell us which color it is.  You have a hard time with the color blue.  You also refer "up" as "down" when you want down.  Too funny!  You do have the sweetest little voice.

Your favorite foods are still fruit and you love fish.  You'll randomly eat chicken and beef, but it's rare.  Your go-to snacks are fruit, fig newtons (Newman's Organic), Whole Foods organic white cheddar popcorn, Annie's cheddar bunnies and fruit snacks.  Breakfast you eat either oatmeal, cheese omelette, cereal or pancakes.  You only like one food item on your plate as well; otherwise you won't eat anything.  

You love nursery rhymes!  You'll do the motions when mommy sings "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Wheels On The Bus," "Patty Cake."  You also love getting behind mommy and daddy saying "peek-a-boo!"

You LOVE jumping and running on the bed.  You also love to swing, or to you, "wing."  You have become the professional bubble blower.  You say, "bubbles, bubbles" over and over until you get your hands on them.

You are truly OBSESSED of Blue's Clues!!!  You wake up every morning saying, "Blue, Blue, Blue!"  You'll do your little sign for blue as well.  Mommy has been letting you watch more tv since I've been packing up our house for the move.

Before bed you have to have your, "wa wa."  You say that over and iver even if you drink all of it.  Mommy has to just walk out of the room and tell you goodnight.

You love playing with baby dolls, pretend playing, coloring, playing with play-doh, having your nails painted, reading.

Your other obsession, playing on the Kindle.  You sit on the kitchen table every morning playing it si mommy can eat and drink her coffee.  Otherwise, mommy would starve and not have any energy for the day.  It also keeps you happy in the car.  I have to say, you know how to navigate your way through your videos and apps.

You love giving hugs and kisses.  Melts my heart.

You love playing in the bars at Little Gym.  I really think you'll be an uneven bar gymnast when your older.

You are bashful towards strangers.  When someone talks to you, you hide behind mommy's leg or lay your head on my shoulder while smiling. Too cute!

When we ask you where's Joanna, you lift mommy's shirt to kiss my belly.  Sooo sweet!

You are at a fun age little girl.  You are overall a happy child.  Very random you have any tantrums.  That makes mommy's life easier :)
